Osteria Battibecco

The most beautiful place to eat in the region. We were staying in a hotel on the other side of the hill and stumbled across this osteria. The hosts are truly wonderful people and make sure to give you a beautiful evening. Antipasti, primi and secondi were all above good and the picanha in particular is out of this world. I'll start by saying that initially when the starter arrived we were a little disappointed because it didn't look optimal, but if it were instead for the first course I highly recommend it, the flavor was very good both in the sauce and in the pasta (strozzapreti with wild boar ragù ). I think the best strozzapreti I have ever ordered from a restaurant. Regarding the second course, nothing to say about the cut, it was also very good and plentiful in quantity, the rabbit in porchetta was good but the presentation wasn't that great, placed on a bed of oil. A shame because the first course and the tagliatelle deserve a lot. Nice place and staff too.

Very beautiful and romantic place, first courses and quality meat and fair price if you think about the portions, plating (first courses directly in the pan and meat in cast iron). I didn't like that at every table they brought this piece of beef back and forth, talking about it, trying to sell it... if you really want to sell the meat, do a small display inside, with hygienic rules, it would also make a scene, but it would make people uncomfortable. the customer like this in my opinion is not the best... I recommend not taking the side dishes... 2 in number for 14 euros and old baked potatoes

I went for lunch today with my friends. We booked the table via WhatsApp and as a social media manager I can only say compliments to businesses that embrace technology and keep up with the times. We arrive around 1.15pm and immediately find an air of celebration and conviviality, a bit like being with family. They take us to the table overlooking the splendid Romagna hills as you see in the photo. In fact, the restaurant has beautiful windows that illuminate the entire restaurant. We choose an encore of first courses: gnocchi with sausage ragù and a truffle raviolaccio with white ragù and spinach. All superb. For the second course, being five strong men with a need for protein, we choose a Florentine steak and a picanha over a kilo, both rare, of course. Perfect cooking, superior quality meat. No sauces or jams like other places do. Only the quality of the raw material as it should always be. We conclude with four desserts, four coffees and a brunette (who surprised me a lot since she is more from the Pesaro/Fano area). Really honest bill for what we ate. Well done also to the owner who, with his friendliness and professionalism, made us have an excellent lunch. We will definitely be back.
